From my point of view it gets down simply to positioning. See, once I started looking at these cliques as other agencies, my eyes opened wide…it was an epiphany sort of.
“Independent escort” no longer means what it did 10 to 15 years ago. Back then, it meant a girl had a loyal enough following to go it on her own. Traditional independents usually came up through a service, or agency, and became stars before trying to go it alone. Not anymore though. “Independent escort” is now a meaningless label with very few girls able to go it alone and really make decent money.
The ones who do are featured by themselves on their own websites and NEVER publicize specials!
Quite a few of the so-called “independent girls” don’t even go it alone. So they aren’t independent are they? In case you wish to argue the point, here is a link to the definition of “independent”
The so-called “independence” they speak of is supposedly independence from men. Okay, so the feminist movement continues…BUT considering their clientele is probably entirely made up of men, this thinking is moronic. How in the heck are they independent from men when they rely on men for a living?
They turn to their “working partners” and “girlfriends” to help them through this dilemma. Problem is these ladies resent the guys they rely on for a living. Collectively, they reason that somehow they have mastered and risen above men since guys will pay to spend time with them. These girls still have to get male clients but usually none of them are the marketing brainiacs they thought they were. To make matters worse, they allow resentment to overpower reason when it comes to customer service. Beyond “barter for pictures” and a profile here, a profile there — they don’t get it.
Now that you better understand the mindset of these people you can better understand the service they provide. See, the only segment of clientele who appreciates this mindset and thinking are the low-life guys who like being treated like crap from women. THOSE are the repeat clients of these girls. Those guys will continue to grovel for appointments from unappreciative ladies whereas the winners ascend and seek out better escorts to deal with–no matter how attractive the girl(s) they were dealing with are.
Why? Well those clients hate having to grovel and beg for appointments. Can’t play the scarcity card if you are “on-sale” this week. Think about it for a moment. You are supposed to be so in demand that you can’t return phone calls or e-mails but are running that “great special” this week. Doesn’t make sense.
So the next time you see someone flash the words “independent escort” ask yourself if they are really just “dependent escorts” instead. Dependent on male clients for a living and dependent on other girls in a clique who often backstab and take advantage of each other.
Life is much better above the fray than in the misguided world of the “dependents”
